Rich & Ashley Northup are a husband-and-wife super solo team from Oxford, NY. They have been teaming together for three years, but they are not new to trucking and heavy equipment. Ashley has been a commercial driver for 11 years, and Rich has experience as a sanitation engineer working with various heavy equipment as well as previous bus transit driver experience for 25 years. Together, they have combined their experience and have been trucking through the United States, hauling various types of high-dollar freight. They find comfort in being employed by one of the oldest family-run New York State trucking companies in operation since 1936. They can most often be seen rolling through the northeast states along with their trucking cat, “Diesel”.

When not on the road, they can be found enjoying their log cabin nestled on two acres of land in the hills of the Southern Tier, adorned with beautiful, lush flower gardens, vegetables, and several apply trees. All different species of birds, honeybees, and silly chipmunks run around. Throughout the summer, you can catch them tending to their beehive, and in the fall, you can get a glimpse of Rich and Ashley picking apples and pressing them in an old-fashioned press to make fresh apple cider.
