If Your Body Could Talk...

If your body could talk, what would it say? Surprisingly, it really does speak to you, but maybe you are just not listening. Your body has a language of its own and if you pay attention to what it is trying to say, you will quickly be able to decipher the codes.
Your body continuously communicates with you in many ways. Some of these ways are pains, aches, swelling, fever, rashes, and sluggishness.
Pain is a mayday signal that something is wrong. When you encounter pain, instead of reaching for a pain reliever, do some investigation and see what the cause is. Many times, finding the cause gives you a tip on what you need to do to eliminate the problem.
Does acid re-flux, heartburn, indigestion, stomach pain or other forms of stomach distress seem familiar to you? If so, your gut is trying to tell you something. You may need to change what you are eating as often the choices that you make can and will determine the health and workings of your digestive system. Perhaps stress is taking a toll on the condition of your gut and causing you distress. Or maybe a medication is hindering your gut from being able to work at its peak performance.
Often the warning signs that are provided by your body are covered up by medications you are taking or simply ignored or accepted. But don’t ignore what your body is trying to tell you. These nudges or outright screams are indeed something that you need to address. Your body is not designed to hurt or ache for no reason at all.
So instead of passing it off as just an ache or a pain, research the causes of these feelings. Commit to finding out what is causing your body to talk to you. Have you injured it? Do you have a disease? Do you have a known problem that can be addressed naturally? Is there something unknown or underlying that you need to get checked out?
You are the only one who can hear and feel your body talking to you. Being aware and in-tune with your body is something that should be in your daily regimen.
Try to remedy the problem instead of covering it up or worse, ignoring it. These forms of communication from your body may just save your life. Decide to get to know your body better. What is it saying? Are you listening?
